This has been an unprecedented time in modern history for pandemic outbreaks. Genetic Immunizations have played a major role in the rapid responses to their control. This session brings together leaders in the field to review the major successes as well as areas for improvement from the recent SARS-CoV-2 and Ebola outbreaks. At-risk populations remain, and novel approaches for immune protection are in development. Understanding induction of immune responses and generation of long-term immunity are some of the topics that will be debated in this important session.
