Patient Advocate Connection Luncheon

This buffet lunch will be hosted by the Patient Outreach Committee and takes place directly after their workshop, Accessibility of Gene Therapy: From Precision Medicine to Market Approved Therapies. The committee will gather with patient advocates, individuals with a rare disease, caregivers, and others with scientific or clinical expertise, to talk about the content of the Annual Meeting. If you’re interested in attending this lunch, please RSVP by April 14.
The Advocate Advisor Program will also be held during this time. Volunteers from ASGCT’s standing and scientific committees will answer questions related to the content at the Annual Meeting. International attendees are invited to come together over coffee and a light breakfast during this event from the Global Outreach Committee. ASGCT recognizes that many people from different areas of the world may be facing similar challenges in gene therapy research and development, so you can use this time to build new relationships to foster advances in the field. This breakfast leads into the committee's symposium, Fostering Global Collaborations to Advance Gene and Cell Therapy Research in LMICs. The start of the symposium will include remarks about the value of ASGCT for individuals working outside of the U.S.
8-11 p.m. PT, California Science Center
Space for this ticketed event is limited, and badges will be checked for entry.
Join us for food, music, and even more science after hours at the California Science Center! For an extra $100 that you can add on to your meeting registration, enjoy the center's exhibits, chat with your colleagues over light appetizers and drinks from an open bar, and dance to the music of a live band.
