Detailed Program

The Role of Government in Ensuring Equity of Access to CGTs (Organized by the Government Relations Committee)

Ensuring that patients can access FDA-approved cell and gene therapies (CGTs) underpins the future sustainability of the development ecosystem. In this symposium, speakers will focus on the role of the US government in that access question. Presentations will dive into how we think about value; what can be done to enable healthcare systems to handle high-cost, high-value therapies; models to support patient access; and unresolved questions on intellectual property in the public-private sphere.
