Genome editing technologies have brought hope of long-term curative therapies for patients with genetic disease. The first generation approaches, including small edits in vivo, are charting a path forward into the clinic. Moving beyond small edits, recent technological advances have also enabled new approaches to generate larger genetic edits. This session will highlight the translation of diverse gene editing modalities and their progress in clinical trials.
