Presenting Your Abstract

Oral Abstract Presentations

Approximately 25% of accepted abstracts are scheduled as oral abstract presentations. Oral abstract presentations are formal PowerPoint presentations given during simultaneous oral abstract sessions. Presentations are 10 minutes in length followed by five minutes of Q&A. Abstract sessions last one hour and 45 minutes. Presenters are required to disclose any potential conflicts at the beginning of their presentation.

Oral abstract presenters are expected to present at the 27th Annual Meeting live on site in Baltimore, Maryland.

Oral abstract presenters will not be given a poster presentation.

Poster Presentations

The remaining 75% of ASGCT abstracts will be presented in the on-site poster hall.

On-site poster boards will be 4' x 8' in landscape orientation (the recommended poster size is 3' x 6'). Posters will be scheduled for presentation during Poster Hall Presentation receptions each day of the Annual Meeting. All posters must be setup by noon each day, and taken down by the end of the day.

Late-breaking abstracts that do not get accepted for oral presentations will not be offered poster presentations.
