ASGCT is proud to announce and congratulate the recipients of the 21st Annual Meeting Outstanding Poster Presentation Awards!  During each poster session of the 21st Annual Meeting, assigned teams of poster reviewers assessed each poster presentation and based on the quality of research, clarity of presentation, and poster outline, a winner from each abstract category was selected.

Print Your Certificate of Attendance!

Thank you to the nearly 3,500 attendees who made the 21st Annual Meeting such a record-smashing success. If you would like or require a certificate of attendance, you can now generate one from our database.

Note: If you're a non-member attendee, you can still print a certificate by following the user generation prompts on the login screen.

Online Registration Closes Today, May 10!

The ASGCT 21st Annual Meeting is almost here, and with that comes the close of online registration at 5 p.m. CT today. Fear not, however, if you aren't able to register by then. You can still register on-site when you arrive—and that includes workshops!

On-site registration will be open all day starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15. You can pick up your badge for the week or register for the Commercialization or CAR T-Cell Therapy pre-meeting workshops and the rest of the annual meeting. The registration desk will open for the first day of the annual meeting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16!

Abstracts Now Live Online!

The full text of all 994 abstracts to be presented at the 21st Annual Meeting are now available online and part of session listings in the online program!

Additionally, a PDF version of the entire abstract directory, organized by session, is available as well.

NOTE: The Gene Editing Pre-Meeting Workshop has SOLD OUT. Please contact the ASGCT office to be added to the Gene Editing Workshop waitlist.

Early Registration Ends & Hilton Chicago Housing Block Closes

Yesterday, April 25, was the final day to secure the $50 registration discount for early registrants to attend the ASGCT 21st Annual Meeting. Starting April 26, rates for all classifications (member, non-member, government employee, etc.) rose by $50. You can still register online to attend the meeting

Additionally, the ASGCT housing block at the Hilton Chicago is now closed. The Hotel & Travel page has a suggested list of nearby alternative hotels—many within walking distance of the Hilton Chicago.

Handful of Rooms Still Available at Hilton Chicago

There are a small number of rooms available in the ASGCT block at the Hilton Chicago on Wednesday, May 16, Thursday, May 17, Friday, May 18, and Saturday, May 19.  Rooms are sold-out on Monday, May 14, and Tuesday, May 15. Full Program for ASGCT 2018 Now Available

All sessions and speakers for ASGCT's 21st Annual Meeting are now uploaded and available online for desktop users. Sort by dates, speakers or exhibitors to plan your schedule for the conference. A mobile version will be included with the ASGCT mobile app.

Oral abstract presentations and poster sessions are scheduled and in the program, but abstracts are still in the review period. The program will be updated with presenter and research information as it becomes available.

2018 Annual Meeting Abstract Submission Closes

The submission window for research to be presented at the 2018 ASGCT Annual Meeting officially closed at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 2. All abstracts that were submitted by the deadline have been collected and are currently under review. A collection of the accepted abstracts will be available online on April 30.

ASGCT offers a sincere thank you and congratulations to everyone who submitted an abstract for review.

Abstract Deadline Extended to February 2!

The American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy has elected to make a one-time, two-day extension of the 21st Annual Meeting abstracts deadline. The last chance for Society members to submit research for presentation at the annual meeting is now February 2 at 11:59 p.m. CT. There will be no further extensions and no late-breaking abstract submission period.

Annual Meeting Registration Now Open!

Members, non-members and groups are now able to register for the 21st ASGCT Annual Meeting online. Visit the online registration page for access to the meeting, May 16-19, 2018, in Chicago. Group registration is also available online for groups of five (5) or more people attending from the same organization.

Finally, online registration for all three pre-meeting workshops is open as well. ASGCT offers a $25 discount on registration for any of the three workshops (Commercialization, Gene Editing, or CAR T Therapies), which run concurrently on May 15, the day before the 21st ASGCT Annual Meeting. More information, including descriptions of all three workshops, is available on the registration information page.

Paper registration forms for both individuals and groups will be available in the coming weeks.

Abstract Submission & Member Housing Opens

Starting November 1, both abstract submission and the ASGCT member hotel block are now open. The abstracts page has more information on deadlines and available awards for submitting authors, or head directly to the submission page if you're ready to send in your abstract.

ASGCT’s 21^st Annual Meeting will take place May 16-19, at the Hilton Chicago. Attendee registration opens on December 1 and room reservations in ASGCT’s room block will be released shortly thereafter.
