Detailed Program

Pre-Clinical Models (Organized by the Education Committee)

In vivo preclinical testing of gene and cell therapies is a key step during the development process. The in vivo models have to be relevant for the indication of the therapy: gene replacement, adoptive engineered cells, organ engineering, immunologic aspects, immunotherapeutic potency, etc... In this session, different indications, technologies, small and large animal models will be covered and discussed in light of what can be expected by the regulatory process.
