Detailed Program

Function and Therapeutics Applications of Circular RNAs (circRNAs) (Organized by the Oligonucleotide and RNAi Therapeutics Committee)

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are evolutionarily conserved endogenous biomolecules with tissue-specific and cell-specific expression patterns. They exert important biological functions by acting as microRNA or protein inhibitors (sponges). Emerging evidence implicates that they play a critical role in disease pathogenesis. This session is tailored to cover fundamental biological aspects and therapeutic applications of circRNAs.
