How Novel Technologies Will Advance Understanding of Neurological Disorders and Development of Transformative Therapies (CIRM)

The proposed session will focus on how novel uses of technologies such as digital biomarkers, optogenetics, imaging, etc., have broad potential to: (1) advance biological and clinical understanding of neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders (2) lead to novel therapeutic approaches and (3) accelerate translational and clinical development of cell and gene therapies for a range of neurological disorders.
